High School boys basketball tipped off last night for many schools in the area.
- Oconto Falls is a young team with only one senior and had three sophomores in their starting five. They traveled to Suring to open up the season last night. And their sophomores were ready ready to go. Mitch Manns had a game high 24 points and Zach Parsons chipped in 11 in a 61-46 season opening victory. The Panthers started started the second half on an 8-0 run that kept Suring from scoring for the first six and half minutes. Josiah Schoen also had 15 points for the Oconto Falls. Ryan Mahoney led Suring with 21 points.
- New London got 22 points from Brady Rodgers and 10 from Will Wohlt as the Bulldogs hung on to beat Freedom 56-52.
