Doris Mae Paisar, age 95, of the Town of Seneca, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Shawano. Born in the Town of Seneca on February 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lydia (Mevis) Schultz. On November 18, 1942, Doris wed Harold J. Paisar at St. Francis Catholic Church in Gresham. Harold preceded her in death on June 6, 2002. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Leopolis, where she volunteered for the CCW. Doris was a very social person, who loved visiting and meeting new people. She enjoyed watching the wildlife, especially her birds. More than anything, Doris loved her family.
Doris is survived by: five loving children, Nancy (Jerome) Bazile of Waukesha, Darold Paisar of Leopolis, David (Susan) Paisar of Wittenberg, Richard “Dick” Paisar of Marion and Dennis (Cheri) Paisar of Appleton; her precious grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Bazile of Sussex, Joelle (Paul) Amberg of Hubertus, Darold “Darry” (Janet) Paisar of Leopolis, Cari (Dan) Gast of Clintonville, Shawn (Carrie) Paisar of Weston, Thaddeus (Sara) Paisar of Iowa, Melissa (Joey Jued) Paisar of Marion, Melanie (Pat) Mauss of Iowa, Travis (Tracy) Paisar of Oak Creek, Heather (fiancé, Harpreet Behl) Paisar of California and Mark (Becca) Paisar of Minnesota; 22 great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Lexie, Jared, Mariah, Aaron, Nichole, Austin, Josh, Christina, Andrew, McKayla, Skylar, Riley, Brady, Lucian, Kellen, Kyle, Madeline, Olivia, Luke, Erick and Austin; and three great great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Adeline and Bentley. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Elaine Schultz of Bowler.
She was preceded in death by: two daughters-in-law, Bonnie Paisar and Sue Paisar; her parents; and one brother, Roy Schultz.
Funeral services for Doris will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 20, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Leopolis. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Swedberg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
