School officials in Wittenberg-Birnamwood district have been advised that voters would likely approve a referendum for about 6 million dollars. The news comes from the company hired to conduct a survey of school district residents. However, the survey found a hard core 25 percent of residents in the district who would not support a referendum proposal for any amount of money. District officials believe they’ll need 22 million dollars over the next several years for facilities and programs.
