Virginia Lucille Weber-Davis, age 91, of Shawano, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Born in Chicago, IL on December 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Gertrude M. (Liss) Reichert. On June 28, 1947, Virginia was united in marriage to Robert James Weber, who preceded her in death. Finding love again, Virginia was married to Kenneth Everett Davis on February 14, 1980 in Shawano. Kenneth also preceded her in death. She was a member of Church on the Hill United Methodist Church and part of Shawano Women’s Club. Virginia enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and playing bridge with her bridge club.
Virginia is survived by: two children, Anne Weber of Spring Hill, Florida and Chris (Ellen) Weber of Queen Creek, AZ; step-daughter, Jill (Dan) Heinritz; step-son, Mark Davis; grandchildren, Jeremy Weber of Mesa, AZ, Andrew Weber of Apache Junction, AZ, Tara Hawkins of Maricopa, AZ, Brian Weber of Queen Creek, AZ, Mallory Weber of Queen Creek, AZ, Olivia Weber of Queen Creek, AZ, Greg McElrone, Jr. of Green Bay, WI, Andrew McElrone of Spring Hill, FL and Sarah McElrone of Spring Hill, FL; step-grandchildren, Michael (Kate) Heinritz, Terri (Bob) Thillens, Jennifer (Thomas) Lee, Sterling (Joel) Halterman, Mark (Allison) Davis, Jr., Taylor Davis and Oliver Davis; 11 great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Weber; her second husband, Kenneth Davis; two children, Tony Weber and a child in infancy; her parents; and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Church on the Hill United Methodist Church in Shawano with Rev. Claudia Deede officiating. Inurnment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Church on the Hill from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Virginia’s name to Shawano Public Library.
