Clintonville administrators say the cost of placing a marquee sign at the State Highway 22/156 intersection is going to be paid with money from the DOT. The sign is part of the Main Street reconstruction project. Originally city officials thought Clintonville would have to pay for it, at least in part. However, City Administrator Sharon Eveland worked out a deal with the DOT so that the 34 thousand dollar cost of installing and running the sign will be picked up by the state.
