The national conversation about whether athletes should stand for the National Anthem has been going on for awhile, and now Governor Scott Walker has decided to toss in his two cents. Walker says he sent a letter Monday to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith saying he believes players are showing disrespect for the flag and veterans. Walker says players should stand for the anthem, and then take a stand against domestic violence . Walker suggests that would reunite the NFL with its fans.
