A Clintonville man is in custody after being arrested for allegedly having possession of drugs in what was identified as a stolen car. 36-year old Anthony R. McMillin was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, taking a vehicle without consent, resisting an officer and felony bail jumping.
A car that was reported stolen was located by an officer on Wednesday, according to the report. The complaint also states that McMillin did not admit to stealing the car, but said he may have kept it too long. When police tried to handcuff him, McMillin allegedly took off and did not stop until and officer used a taser. Officers say drug paraphernalia was found on the ground and on his body. A cash bond of $500 dollars or a $1,000 dollar signature bond was set in Waupaca County Court Thursday.
