Joshua R. Pingel, age 21, of Town of Morris, Shawano County, passed away Sunday morning, August 27, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Fairbanks, Shawano County.
Joshua Robert Pingel was born June 21, 1996 at Shawano Hospital to Robert and Cynthia (Wudstrack) Pingel. He grew up in the Tigerton and Bowler area and graduated from Tigerton High School in 2014. Josh began working out in the woods with his father and brothers in their logging company operating a timber processor. Then he got his CDL and began driving log truck in the family business, Pingel Trucking of Bowler.
Josh always enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He often loved riding his Razor UTV and his snowmobile with brothers, friends and little cousins. Josh also liked working in the home shop with his father, brothers, friends and little cousins on logging equipment, big trucks, and more. He will be remembered most for his spunky sense of humor. Josh was quick witted and always had a smart comeback for everything.
Survivors include his parents, Bob and Cindy; two brothers, Keith Pingel and Kyle (Brooke) Pingel; one nephew, Arden Breaker; his maternal grandmother, Judy Wudstrack; and his paternal grandmother, Dianne Pingel. There are nine cousins, Levi and Weston Schick; Trevor and Lily Wudstrack; Sophia, Madeline, and Katelyn Wudstrack; Kayla Schroeder and Brandi Pingel. He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Roger Wudstrack, Bruce (Diana) Wudstrack, Todd (Bonnie) Wudstrack, Susan Pingel, and Cindy Frederickson. Josh is further survived by many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by an infant brother, Jacob; both grandfathers, Robert Pingel and Lawrence “Smiley” Wudstrack; and an aunt, Rebecca Wudstrack.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 30th at 10:30 AM at Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Tigerton. Rev. Clifford Kessen will officiate and burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Bowler. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
