Hofa Park claimed their third straight Grand Championship and second straight over Hortonville with a 5-0 win Sunday in Hortonville. The game was delayed an hour due to rain, but the Panthers did not wait long to get the scoring going. Adam Frost hit a two run home run in the third, and Doug Coe hit a solo home run in the sixth to make the score 3-0. Frost put the game away in the 7th as he hit a two run single to give the Panthers the 5-0 lead that they held on to. Matt Zittlow won his third Championship MVP. The Championship was the Panthers fourth in five years.
The Navarino Rangers were awarded the league championship and Mike Nompleggi was awarded Dairyland’s Most Outstanding Pitcher.
