Shawano (0-1) at Waupaca (0-1) – Live on WTCH AM 960 & 96.1 FM
The Shawano Hawks were shutout against West De Pere 42-0 in the first game of the season. Shawano could only total 134 yards of total offense, while West De Pere 332 on the ground alone. Quarterback Jarrett Laatsch did complete 11-of-16 passes for 85 yards.
Waupaca was also shutout in their season opener, falling to Menasha 21-0 on the road. Their main offensive production came from quarterback Brenden Canterbury, who was 4-of-12 passing for 29 yards and rushed for 72. The game tonight will be the first ever in Comet Stadium, which will be played on the high school grounds, rather than Habekorn Field.

Menominee Indian (0-1) at Gillett (0-1) – Live on WOWN 99.3 FM
Two teams in the MONLPC-8 hoping to pick up their first win of the season as Menominee Indian travels to Gillett. The Tigers fell in their first every 8-man contest last Saturday 42-26 to Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran.
Menominee Indian dropped a close game to Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas 26-22 in week one. The Eagles led heading into the fourth quarter, but allowed a touchdown to Colby Borchert in the late stages. Meshean Waukau is hoping to build on a strong week one performance. He rushed 193 yards and three touchdowns, which was the top rushing performance in the MONLPC-8. Norman Kakwitch also eclipsed 100 yards on 16 carries.
