More charges have been brought upon the woman involved in a fatal OWI crash in Greenville earlier this month. Originally, 24-year-old Kendra Bruley was charged with injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle, but the motorcyclist she allegedly hit, 65-year-old Stephen Gerbert, later died from his injuries. The new charges were filed on Tuesday and Bruley was in Outagamie County Court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday morning. Gerbert was the 16th person to be killed on Outagamie County roads this year, seven of them were alcohol related. Five were not wearing seatbelts, four were for excessive speed and inattentive driving. In a press release, the sheriff’s office encourages motorists to think about their driving habits.
