Green Bay Southwest needed to come from behind twice to defeat Pulaski, but they managed to do so in overtime on Thursday, claiming the 21-20 victory.
Pulaski had led 14-7 since the 2nd quarter, but in the late stages of the fourth, Nick Howard connected with Kaleb Keener for a 66-yard touchdown strike to even up the score.
In the overtime period, Pulaski marched right to the goal line and capped it off with a 3-yard touchdown run by Dylan Hendricks, his second of the game. The ensuing extra point missed off the left upright, but a running into the kicker call gave the Red Raiders new life. The next attempt, however, missed wide right.
After being stuffed for a loss on their first play of overtime, Howard hit Noah Schmidt in the endzone for a 28-yard touchdown to tie the game while Camden Czarnecki hit the PAT for the win.
Pulaski’s Dylan Hendricks totaled 178 yards on 31 attempts. Brock Egnarski had a catch for 56 yards.
