No more wipes in the pipes, that is the message that the City of Clintonville is sending their residents. According to City Administrator Sharon Eveland, the wastewater staff had to clean out the oxidation ditch at the wastewater plant, and in what has become a normal occuarance, they found wipes in the pipes. This time, the number of wipes were large enough in number that a skid steer had to be used to help guide the pile of wipes out, according to Eveland’s announcement. The City Administrator added that if residents continue this practice, it can become very costly as equipment can break or become damaged.
