Authorities say that an 80-year-old man from Antigo was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon along I-41 and County Highway B.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. when officials say a straight truck driven by a 51-year-old Green Bay man was slowing for traffic backups. The car behind him was driven by the Antigo man, who was unable to stop in time and collided into the truck’s back end.
Two passengers in the straight truck, a 40-year-old Green Bay man and 60-year-old Green Bay man, suffered minor injuries and the driver was uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
