Update:
The Seymour Police Department contacted the Wisconsin DNR, who investigated into a number of reports regarding a fox sighting within city limits. The investigation has determined that the fox just seems to be used to people.
According to the DNR, it is important not to feed wild animals and keep trash stored in a closed location. People are encouraged not to touch or go near the fox and they will continue to monitor the situation.
The Seymour Police Department said they have been receiving reports of a red fox that may be sick or injured in the city. The DNR is scheduled to be in Seymour today to investigate. Anyone with any information can call the department at 920-833-2366
