James Henry Gruel, age 53, of Seymour formerly of Bonduel, passed away on July 21, 2017 in Green Bay after a long time illness. Jim was born on July 27, 1963 in Shawano, a son of the late Dale and Barbara (Kittson) Gruel. Jim worked as a handyman and could make friends with anyone. He loved Chevy’s and Harley’s and definitely lived life to the fullest.
Jim is survived by: two daughters, Alisha “A.J.” (Paul) Six and Tonya Jo Gruel-Wright both of Ohio; a special niece, Dawn Vigue of Ohio; siblings, Connie (Peter) Martineau of Pulaski, Kathy (Steve) Hughes of Mosinee, David (Noreen) Gruel of Chilton, Linda (Bill) Biese of Black Creek, Rick (Joan) Gruel of Cecil, Barb (Todd) Maves of Green Bay, and Mari (David) Kriescher of Green Bay; step mother Phyllis Gruel of Bonduel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Allen Gruel, long time girlfriend Jacque, and best friend Mitch.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Swedberg Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service. Jeans, boots, and hats are encouraged.
