Former Green Bay Packer tight end Mitchell Henry has died at the age of 24. He had been diagnosed with leukemia last December.
Henry was undrafted when he graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2015. He signed his first contract with the Packers and actually was with the team twice.
He also was with the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. Henry played his only two NFL games in 2015.
Henry is survived by his wife, Madison, and his mother.
In college, he played 47 games for the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers, catching 78 passes for almost 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of former #Packers TE Mitchell Henry, who passed away this morning: https://t.co/IRhadR9Esq pic.twitter.com/g98vMhfYgP
