Former Green Bay Packer running back Ahman Green was arrested at his home in Ledgeview on Sunday on suspicion of child abuse. Prosecutors allege that the 40-year old Green hit his 15-year old daughter because she did not want to do household chores. According to the complaint, Green’s daughter went to a neighbor’s house and said she was abused. The report alleges that Green pulled his daughter into the kitchen, ripping her shirt and then punched her in the face. According the reports, Green admitted that he did hit her in the head with an open hand. Green was charged with one felony count of physical abuse of a child, and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. In Brown County on Monday, a $2,500 signature bond was set. Green could receive a maximum of six years in prison if convicted.
