Friday, May 12, Fox Valley Technical College in Clintonville will host their second annual job far at the regional center, located on S. Main St.
Vendors will be on-hand representing a variety of industries, such as health care, food service, manufacturing, banking, among others who will be looking for candidates of all kinds.
“They are looking for part-time and full-time positions, so they are willing to talk to high school students, also people who have graduated, and also individuals who may not have a college background,” said Fox Valley Tech Regional Center Manager Kim Manteuffel. “There’s a wide variety of positions that will be open, so if you are looking for a job, please come and see us on Friday.”
The event has grown from last year. Job seekers are asked to come interview ready, along with a copy of their resume.
“We had 20 vendors last year, so we’ve grown this year,” Manteuffel said. “We had approximately 350 people come through. All of the vendors really enjoyed the time. Individuals need to come in the morning, come visit, have some discussions, possibly give applications and interview if interested.”
The job fair runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. There is no cost to attend the event. A list of employers can be found here.
