Flood concerns have once again hit Waupaca County. The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Wolf River, neear Shiocton.
The water was last reported at 11.7 feet, with the flood stage at 12.0 feet. It is projected that the water may rise above flood level by Saturday, and could get up to about 12.8 feet by next week. Homes and streets near the river in Shiocton area need to be aware.
Waupaca County Emergency Management has issued a flood emergency for the Wolf River downstream of New London.
A Slow-No-Wake zone is in place for boaters. The enforcement will be done by the Waupaca County Sheriff Water Patrol.
Waupaca County Emergency Management said it will remain in effect until the waters recede to a non-threatening level.
