A 22-year-old Clintonville man was charged this week with attempted first-degree homicide, as well as possession of a controlled substance.
Authorities say that Brady A. DeCamp was arrested following a stabbing incident, just after 4 a.m. on Monday, April 24. The criminal complaint states that DeCamp had told officers he had pulled a knife on a 26-year-old man, but did not believe he cut him, despite holding the knife to the man’s neck. DeCamp also told police that he was Jesus Christ.
Police say they received a call from the victim’s father claiming his son needed stitches to his neck and chest.
Upon searching DeCamp’s residence, officers discovered drops of blood, a knife with brass-knuckle handles, a BB gun, and a white powder that tested positive for amphetamine.
DeCamp’s bond was set for $100,000 cash.
