The predicted rain fall in the next 48 hours would be good news for the Wisconsin DNR. Due to dry weather, the listening area is under a High danger for fire. Waupaca County was at the Very High danger level as of this morning, but by 10:00am, Waupaca County joined Shawano, Oconto, Outagamie, Brown and Menominee Counties at the High Alert Level. This is the time of year that people tend to either burn brush and debris or enjoy outdoor fires. The DNR has set burn permit requirements in place until further notice.
