A group of 15 people learned all about severe weather spotting during a 90 minute training from the National Weather Service. The trained spotters are taught how to spot, identify and report storms in the area. The training is part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, and was done through Shawano County Emergency Management. Another training opportunity will be held on Wednesday April 26 at 6:30pm at NWTC in Wittenberg.
