Patricia “Pat” Ann (Lohrentz) Zimmerman, 83, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away unexpectedly in the afternoon, Wednesday, April 19, 2017. Patricia was born on November 9, 1933 in West Allis, the daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn (Hoppe) Lohrentz. She lived the early part of her life in West Allis before moving to Pella. Pat attended Shawano High School where she played the drums. She also loved to play her accordion with her sister, Betty. On May 21, 1955, Pat was united in marriage to Elmer Zimmerman at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pella. She and her beloved husband raised six children together and celebrated 61 years together last May. Pat worked for Graper’s, Rexograph Company, Briggs and Stratton and North Star Casino. She enjoyed cake decorating, playing Bingo, playing Yahtzee, watching cooking shows and Packer games. Pat was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, loved her Lord and Savior, and enjoyed attending services and church events. More than anything, Pat loved spending time with her family.
Pat is survived by: her beloved husband, Elmer; five children, Debbie Zimmerman, Cindy (Jesus) Estrada, Wendy (Dale) Schultz, Rick (Kris) Zimmerman and Ron (Jes) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Jesse (Joanna) Estrada, Mario Estrada, Migiel Estrada, Selina Domenech, Jay (Angie) Schultz, Christy (AJ) Mehlberg, Fawn Schultz, Jena Zimmerman, Zoë Zimmerman, Nicole Jordan, Deon (Brian) Dey, Tina (Tim) Lintner and Chad (Shelly) Olson; great grandchildren, Kyle, Brea, Samanna, Alex, Joseph, Gabriella, Ariana, Aden, Audrina, Mya, Brantly, Georgia, Leo, Eli, Cody, Evan and Jesse, Jr.; her brother, Dale (Jean) Lohrentz; her sister, Betty Heling and her sister-in-law, Lorraine Lohrentz. She is further survived by Elmer’s brother and sister, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Zimmerman; her parents; two brothers, Walter Lohrentz, Jr. and Larry Lohrentz and one sister, Gracie Bartelt.
Funeral services for Pat will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Lofgren officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30pm until the time of the service.
