Charges have officially been filed against a former City of Shawano Employee.
James D. Schoenhofen, 57, is facing five total charges from an incident that occurred back in 2015, according to court records.
Schoenhofen is facing felony counts for theft of movable property and misconduct in office. Each of those charges carries a maximum of 3 1/2 years in prison and up to a $10,000 dollar fine.
Schoenhofen is also charged with felony identity theft, which carries up to six years in prison. Other charges include misdemeanor theft of movable property and misdemeanor altering of identity marks. He is scheduled for an initial appearance in court next Monday.
