The Iola-Scandinavia Board of Education unanimously accepted the resignation of District Administrator David Dyb’s at the regular Board of Education meeting this week.
Dyb is currently on a sabbatical leave from his position so that he can explore other career opportunities until his official resignation date June 30.
Until then, there will be three people stepping in to fill the void: Business Manager Sarah Thiel, Elementary School Principal and Curriculum Coordinator Stacey Wester, and Principal Sara Anderson. They will each be co-interim district administrators.
The board of education will discuss more permanent plans for filling the position at an upcoming date.
