Robotics teams from 125 public, charter, and private schools are sharing $250,000 in grants to support their participation in Robotics League competition.
Teams that were eligible were made up of high school students in grades 9-12 that work with a mentor to design, construct, program, and operate a robot that will compete at a robotics event.
The grant support is intended to encourage more student interest in the STEM subjects; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
