Alison Roe of Waupaca
Darlene M. Norkett, 32, faces charges of solicitation of first degree intentional homicide, and conspiracy to commit first degree homicide. Alison Roe, 45, of Waupaca was charged late last week with a count of attempt to commit first degree intentional homicide as a party to a crime.
The two are alleged to have exchanged numerous text and Facebook messages, with threats to kill family members and friends of Norkett.
The alleged threats came to light last Thursday night when one of the alleged potential targets talked to a sheriff’s deputy who was tending to a traffic accident near the target’s residence.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Norkett, who is believed to be out of state currently. Roe was arrested and is being held on a $2,500 cash bond. Both face up to 60 years behind bars if convicted.
Roe, who was due back in court Tuesday, was acquitted in late January of the stabbing death of a Fremont man in March of 2015.
