Just after 4:15 a.m. Friday morning, a police officer in Pulaski was dispatched to Arthur Blvd. for a report of someone attempting to break into a vehicle.
Upon arrival, the suspects fled the scene on foot, before getting into a SUV that fled the scene. Pulaski Police reportedly pursued the vehicle eastbound on County Road B.
The pursuit ended when Brown County Sheriff’s Officials deployed stop sticks along Velp Ave. and County Road B, in the Village of Suamico.
There were six occupants in the vehicle, three males and three females. Pulaski Police say that three of them were juvenile. All six occupants were taken into custody.
During the course of the investigation, authorities learned that the SUV was taken without the owner’s consent. Authorities also discovered that those taken into custody may have broken into as many as 50 vehicles in several communities throughout the night.
The SUV they had taken is also believed to be connected to an incident that occurred in Marinette County.
We’ll continue to follow up with more information, as the investigation is ongoing.
