Tuesday night, the Waupaca School Board accepted the resignation of Principal Rob Becker.
District Administrator Greg Nyen explained while they are unable to release details for the public now, he assured they will have answers to questions surrounding the situation soon.
Principal Becker will be replaced by Scott Van Ess, who will serve on an interim basis. Van Ess previously served as the dean of students for Waupaca High School since 2015.
Becker was placed on paid administrative leave on Feb. 8. His resignation is not immediate, however, allowing him to assist with the transition of leadership.
