Authorities have released the names of those involved in a semi vs. school bus crash that occurred before 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, along Highway 45 in Outagamie County.
The driver of the semi that crashed into the school bus was 38-year-old Woodley A. Scholz of Blue Island, Illinois, who was airlifted to ThedaCare in Neenah after the accident. Hospital officials have listed Scholz as in good condition.
Driving the school bus was 63-year-old Kenneth G. Price of New London. He was admitted to ThedaCare-New London for non-life threatening injuries.
When the semi collided with the school bus, it pushed the bus into the left lane, where it struck other cars, who were stopped for the bus. Those involved were 50-year-old Willard W. Hoewisch of Clintonvillle, who was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and 31-year-old Emily Q. Kumber of New London. She did not suffer any injuries.
Three students were admitted to ThedaCare-New London Tuesday, while others went in voluntarily for evaluation.
Highway 45 was closed for about five hours Tuesday.
