A Friday morning house fire has claimed the lives of two people outside of Pulaski, as reports say a neighbor spotted the flames at about 1:00 a.m. and then dialed 911.
The victims of the blaze were recently identified as 41-year-old Molly B. Brochman and 49-year-old Allen J. Renier, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Office was delayed in their identification of the bodies because they had been badly burned. Fire crews weren’t able to enter the home for several hours after the flames were put out because of worries the remaining walls might collapse.
Investigators believe the fire started on the upper level, but they are still looking into the cause of the flames.
