On Monday, a Shawano County Sheriff’s Deputy was advised that the Shawano Police Department was looking for a suspect that had stolen items from Walmart. Deputy Verbrigghe observed the suspect vehicle north of the city and executed a traffic stop. The driver admitted to taking items but stated she no longer had the items. Due to a previous OWI, the driver was operating the vehicle with a revoked license. They were then arrested and booked into the Shawano County Jail.
Another in Shawano County was arrested after being pulled over for driving 71 mph in a 55 mph zone on Hwy 47, south of Bonduel. As the deputy took the driver’s information, they recognized that the female driver had an active warrant for their arrest.
