A federal grand jury indicted a Suring man for child sex offenses on the Menominee Indian Reservation. 35-year-old William C. Wilber IV was accused of engaging in sex acts with two underage girls near Legend Lake, where he has a family property. According to the indictment, Wilber was charged with three counts, including engaging in a sex act with a 14-year-old girl in the spring of 2015, and two other counts related to sex acts with a 15-year-old girl in summer of 2015 and the fall of 2016. Each count carries 15 years of prison time for Wilber if he is convicted.
