Gresham Without An Answer For Bunders Inside Play

The Gresham Wildcats fell into a tie for first place in the CWC-10 after falling to Almond Bancroft 62-54. Dylan Blunders used his 6″7 size advantage to lead the Eagles with 26 points. Gresham took a 6-4 lead, but gave up five unanswered points, which gave Almond-Bancroft the lead that they never surrendered. The Eagles shot nearly 50 percent from the field, while the Wildcats shot close to 40 percent. Gresham Coach Jeff Zobeck said the team did not take the best shot opportunities.
Gresham was led by Neal Cerveny with 23 points. Ray Creapeau was 4 for 6 from behind the arc, and ended the night with 14 points.
