Luella M. Frost, age 86 of Clintonville, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2017 at Cherry Meadows ThedaCare Hospice Facility, Appleton.
Luella Mae Frost was born October 17, 1930 in the Township of Matteson, to the late Roy & Dora (Pieper) Jorgenson. Following graduation from Clintonville High School in1948, Luella attended Northwest Medical Technical Institute in Minneapolis, MN. She worked for a time at La Crosse Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, WI, later moving back to Clintonville. She was united in marriage to Douglas W. Frost at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bear Creek on July 21, 1951. She was then employed at the Clintonville Hospital as a laboratory technician until 1975; later working for Dr. Rodriguez at his clinic in New London until her retirement in the early 1980’s. Luella was a dedicated member of Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she was heavily involved with Bible studies as well as quilting. She had a skill for crafts, especially sewing, making most of the clothing for her children when they were young. Luella loved to be in her garden; she also enjoyed playing bridge in her younger years. Whether it was spoiling her grandchildren or cooking vast amounts of food for family gatherings, Luella was never shy about showing the love she had for her family. She will be remembered as a hard-working, determined, and above all, loving mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother.

Great-grandchildren: Allison, Natalie, Madison, Hunter, Rylee, Cole, Clayton, Reece, Mya, Brooks, & Harper
Luella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas; sisters, Laverne & Dorothy, & a brother, Raymond.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville, in the spring.
Friends may call on Thursday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of the service.
