Lyle Fehrman, age 86, of Shawano, formerly of Embarrass, Wisconsin, went to be with his eternal Lord and Savior on January 22, 2017 after suffering an unanticipated health emergency a few days prior. He was truly blessed by the wide circle of family, relatives, friends and business associates that were an active part of his life.
Lyle was employed by the paper industry and never really retired from his career. He remained an independent consultant at the time of his death. Lyle’s love of travel continued throughout his life, both for business and personal pleasure. “Have car, will travel” was the motto he lived by. He was an avid gardener, fisherman, and hunter. He designed three of the homes he and Rita lived in, and they found great joy in entertaining numerous guests over the years. Lyle’s faith and walk with Christ were very important to him, and he held a great number of church offices throughout his lifetime.
Lyle is survived by his son Karl ( Zsuzsanna) Fehrman and grandson’s Kirkland and Tyler of Fredericksburg, VA, son Mark (Kerry) Fehrman and granddaughter’s Faith and Jenna and grandson Tucker of Wausau, WI, brother Jay (Marlene) Fehrman, and numerous dear relatives. Lyle was preceded in death by his wife Rita in 2013, his parents Armond and Mabel Fehrman and brother Alvin Fehrman.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church in Embarrass with Reverend Todd Jerabek officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery, also in Embarrass.
