Clintonville led by eight at the half, but gave up 49 second half points that allowed the Marines to hand the Truckers their third consecutive loss. Marinette shot 20-for-29 at the line, compared to Clintonville’s 5-of-7, which played a big part in the final score. The Truckers received a team-high 20 points from Nathan Krueger and Tyler Petermann added 17. Sam Wittman also reached double-figures with 13 points. As a team, Clintonville shot just 8-of-30 from beyond the arc. Jacob Poetzel and Connor Nelson had 17 points each to lead Marinette.

New London only managed 7 points in the first half, as the stingy West De Pere defense continued to do what they’ve done all season. The Phantoms proved they deserve their No. 2 ranking by a total team effort. Hannah Stefaniak led the team with 15 points, Liz Edinger had 12, and Brehna Evans added 11 points. Leah Porath managed to score a game-high 17 points, after being held to only two in the first half. Lauren Winkler was the next high Bulldog scorer with three points.
