Genevieve M. “Gena” Reinke, age 81, of Angelica, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home with her husband by her side. Born on June 5, 1935, in Two Rivers, Genevieve was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Burg) DeBauch. Gena grew up in Gillett. After graduating from high school she met, and was united in marriage, to Ervin H. Reinke on August 22, 1956, in Gillett. Together the couple lived and farmed in the Town of Angelica for over 60 years. In her free time Gena enjoyed going to rummage sales, collecting antiques, and tending to her flowers and vegetable gardens. She was a wonderful wife and mother who will be deeply missed.
Gena is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Ervin; two sons, Dan Reinke of Angelica and David Reinke of Seattle, Washington; eight siblings, Floyd DeBauch of Green Bay, Marilyn Ingrisani of NY, Vincent (Joyce) DeBauch of Shawano, Priscilla Burbey of Suamico, Joan (Richard) Mardzek of Green Bay, Regina Coppens of AZ, Delbert (Bonnie) DeBauch of Gillett, and Elizabeth (Julius) Ondik of Gillett; she is further survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bernard DeBauch.
A funeral service for Genevieve will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 16, 2017 at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Krakow with Rev. Patrick Gawrylewski O.F.M. officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30am until the time of the service.
