For the third time in eleven years, the Pulaski High School band will march in today’s (Monday’s) Tournament of Roses Parade. It’s one of 21 bands in the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California, along with 20 equestrian units and 40 floats including one from the Milwaukee based Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. The Pulaski marching band will have 215 students in what director Tom Busch calls one of the world’s largest stages, with one-million spectators watching in person and millions more on T-V throughout the world. The band was selected more than one year ago, and they’ve had plenty of time to practice three numbers they’ll perform — “On Wisconsin,” a song from the movie “Show Me How You Burlesque,” and a patriotic tune. The Pulaski band was also in the Rose Parade in 2007 and 2012.
