A Hortonville man was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, according to a criminal complaint.
Christopher W. Sorby, 33, was also charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, operating after revocation, and two counts of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest occurred when an officer was on-hand for a child custody exchange between a 2-year-old’s mother and paternal grandmother at a gas station in Weyauwega.
The officer noted an odor of marijuana and questioned the mother who admitted to smoking earlier that day. Sorby, who had been inside the gas station purchasing food, came out and also admitted to smoking earlier that day.
According to the criminal complaint, Sorby had a pipe and pot in his shoe. The complaint also stated the officer found a total of 82 grams of pot in the vehicle in three plastic bags.
