The theme for the annual Christmas Parade in Clintonville has been selected as “Christmas in Toyland.” The parade is scheduled for November 28 at 6 p.m. Entries are still being accepted into the parade, either lit or non-lit, by contacting the Clintonville Chamber office.
The only criteria in this year’s parade is that no entry have a Santa or Mrs. Clause on it, as the Chamber already has it covered. Parade float entries are being accepted through Wednesday, November 23rd and judging will of the floats will take place prior to the parade.
If you wish to have your float judged, you are asked to arrive no later than 5:15 p.m. on the 28th. Winning entries that best depicts “Christmas in Toyland” will receive $25 in Chamber bucks.
Following the parade, children are invited to visit Santa at the Fox Valley Technical College Clintonville Regional Center, where light refreshments and goodie bags for the kids will be served.
Also that night marks the beginning of the search for the hidden Christmas medallion within the city. Four clues will be given out beginning on November 28th once a week, leading up to Christmas. The clues will be posted to the Chamber’s office window on Main Street. There will be one lucky winner to find and return the medallion to the Chamber office no later than Friday, December 23rd, and they will receive $50 in Chamber bucks.
