The New London Bulldogs and Seymour Thunder are set to square off in a Bay Conference matchup. Both teams are still playoff eligible, but a loss on Friday would deal a definite blow. New London is coming off a 49-14 home defeat to 2nd ranked Menasha, while Seymour enters with a renewed energy, coming from behind to stun Shawano 27-26. For the Bulldogs, Jack Noffke and Parker Fermanich have teamed up to form one of the conference’s most dynamic passing attacks. Only Shawano’s Jack Hanauer and Dylan Sumnicht have more yards in the Bay. Noffke’s 11 touchdowns through the air is the highest in conference. The Seymour Thunder can find themselves in the postseason after dropping their opening 4 games, but they’ll have to take things one game at a time. Three of their final 4 games of the year come against conference opponents with a combined 2-12 record. The only team with a winning record remaining will be a season defining matchup with at Waupaca October 7th. The Thunder average only about two touchdowns a game, but hope to take advantage of a New London Defense that allows an average of 34 points a game.
